Although huge jackpots like this are very appealing, they are also particularly hard to win. You might have to hit a Royal Flush in order to succeed on this wager. Also, think about this- you wager twenty hands and make the side wager each time. That’s 20 dollars you could have used towards the real game bet instead of a sucker bet. Just think about what you might have been able to win at a wager with greater odds employing that 20 dollars.
Individual number bets in Roulette: This is particularly true for American Roulette. The reason? American Roulette has 2 0’s on the wheel, unlike European Roulette, which has just 1. This shifts the complete casino edge from 2% with a single zero wheel to a whopping 5.26% in American. The individual number bet has just a 1 in thirty eight chance of succeeding, which are very long odds indeed. Try even-odd or black-red wagers instead which have a much lower casino advantage.
Keno: Any variation of Keno, and anyway you wager on it, the house advantage can be a huge twenty-five percent. Yes, that is not a typo. Because of the huge set of numbers you have to pick, it’s not recommended to bet on Keno to often. A few times for enjoyment, perhaps.
